On the basis of the sports complex «Spartak» the Competition of the Kursk region in weightlifting was held. Our university was represented by a 4th year student of the Biotechnical Faculty, a member of the KSMU powerlifting team Andrey Babkin. In a bitter struggle, he took the honorable first place in the weight category up to 102 kg.
